What is Microencapsulation?

Microencapsulation is a process in which active ingredients are surrounded by a coating to prevent ingredients interactions and reduce exposure to oxygen, light, moisture, acids and temperature to increase shelf life, also it could improve the taste and odor and  product performance, consistency and efficacy characteristics such as stability, release time, and bioavailability.

Main process of Jilin Painuo CWD microencapsulation consists of emulsification, shearing, homogenizing and spray drying. The emulsifiers we usually use as the coating are maltodextrin, sodium caseinate, fructooligosaccharides and silica.
